Worry doesn't have to be normal

Worry doesn't have to be normal. Let your fears of tomorrow be calmed by the presence & promises of God today (1 Peter 5:7).

Remember the promise

When you can't remember what Jesus said, remember what Jesus promised: I am with you always, to the end of this age (Matthew 28:20).

Follow God, don't play God

You can't follow God if you're trying to play God. Give the Lord control of your heart & the abundant life he promised is yours (Matthew 26:52-54).

Hope in any struggle

There is hope in any struggle. The way to find it is to seek God's presence in the midst of whatever you're facing (Romans 15:13).

What God created you to be

Don't be so preoccupied with trying to be what other people say you should be that you forget what God has truly created you to be (Romans 12:2).

A God merciful & gracious

"But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness" (Psalm 86:15).

Strength to endure

This has been a tough week for many people in South Texas, but God has given us the strength to endure each day. Our hope remains in the One who gives us new life each day.
