Pride or promise?

You don't need to elevate yourself; that's pride. God has promised to raise you on eagle's wings.  That's a promise (Proverbs 16:18).

If you want to be a joyful person, fill your life with joyful people. It's contagious (1 Thessalonians 1:6).

Experience the power of God

You can't experience the power of God if you're trying to run from it (Exodus 14:13).

Come to my relief

"Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief" (Psalm 143:1).

Looking up to the One

Whether you have to keep up. catch up or stay up, make sure your eyes are always looking up to the One who blesses your life (Psalm 121:1).

Influence of negative things

Don't let negative things influence spiritual things. Let spiritual things influence negative things (2 Corinthians 10:5).

How badly you want it

Choose carefully what you decide you want and how badly you want it (Matthew 6:33).
