Your past can be a powerful hindrance to the hope of tomorrow taking root in your life (2 Corinthians 5:17).

It's hard to tell how close you are to being where you want to be. So, be careful about who and what you give up on (Proverbs 21:5).

God takes what seems useless, forgotten or broken and transforms it into a vessel of power and grace (2 Corinthians 4:7).

You're limiting yourself if you're working for your own plan. God has a greater purpose and a higher calling for you (Proverbs 19:21).

In the darkness of the world, God has put a light in you to shine (Matthew 5:16).

Learning to help is fulfilling--help others. Learning to be helped is humbling--let others help you (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
