When I am afraid

"When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you" (Psalm 56:3).

All the good you can

No one may tell you, “Thank you,” but keep doing all the good you can because God is the one for whom you are really working (Ephesians 6:7).

Get walking

God parted the waters, but the people had to walk through. God is working for your good, but you have to walk through faithfully  (Romans 8:28).

Remembering to forget

Sometimes you have to forget where you've been so that God can show you where you need to be going (Philippians 3:13).

Power over temptation

Don't feed the temptation God is giving you the power to overcome (James 1:13-18).

God's time

May it not be that the One who gives us our time be the one we gets the least of our time (Psalm 90:12).

Glory to God's name

"Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness" (Psalm 115:1).

Hope for today

As long as God's love is active, there is always hope for today (Lamentations 2:19-24).

The power of Christ

You have been saved by the power of Christ so that you can live by and share the power of Christ (Galatians 2:20). Have a great Thursday!

Finding God's way

If you've spent all your time trying to find your way, you've missed the fact that God has a better, more abundant way for you (Psalm 25:4).

How to be patient

Maybe you'll be a little more patient today after you think about how patient God is with you (Ephesians 4:2).

Be joyful!

Joy is not about being happy. It is the reminder, even in the midst of turmoil, that you can always celebrate God's goodness (Romans 15:13).

God's purpose for you

"The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands" (Psalm 138:8).

Pray and watch

If you're going to carry your burden to God in prayer, be sure to diligently watch for the answer God will give you (Psalm 5:3). God will answer!

Choosing life over the world

To gain the world, you give up your life. To gain your life, you give up the world. Christ showed us which of those is worth having (Matt 16:26).

God is moving

Our victory, healing or answers to prayer do not always come at once. Little by little God is moving in mighty ways for you (Deuteronomy 7:22).

God is calling

Be what God is calling you to be, not what everyone else wants you to be. (1 Corinthians 7:17).

Making things right?

If you can't make things right, do your best not to make them worse (Proverbs 3:29).

Who's in control?

Planning your day without praying to God only shows who really has control in your life (1 Chronicles 16:11).

Faith Conquers

Realize that God has given you a faith that can conquer the trials and evil of this world (1John 5:4-5).

God's plan is working

When things don't turn out like you planned, you can trust that God's plan is still at work (Jeremiah 29:11).

Truly experience God's love

The love of God will never leave you, but it's in your obedience to Christ that you truly experience what the love of God is (Romans 8:38-39).

Turning away

We don't usually decide to turn away from God. It's the small choices we're not careful with that sway us away (Job 34:4).
