God making you wait

God's timing isn't always quick or convenient, but you can trust it's always perfect. If God is making you wait, it's worth it (John 11:6).

Falling Short

Where you fall short of God's glory, God's grace raises you to new life (Romans 3:23). Don't just give God your Sundays. Give God your heart.

What others think or say

Fear of what others may think or say about you often prevents you from knowing the true peace of God (Proverbs 29:25).

No pretending

With God, you don't have to pretend you're something you're not. The Holy Spirit transforms you into more than you are (1Corinthians 1:26-29).

Overwhelm God?

Nothing you face this week will overwhelm God. So, live in God's strength so that nothing overwhelms you either (Ephesians 6:10).

Be strong & take courage

"Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD" (Psalm 27:14).

The blessing of today

Don't miss the blessing of today by wishing for what tomorrow might bring (Matthew 6:11).

Be patient

Your patience has a reward. God has promised you will have all you need as you learn to patiently endure and hold fast (James 1:4).

See and be ready

Always be ready to see what God is doing so that you can be ready to join what God is doing (John 14:12).

Control of your heart

The way to gain control of your mind is to give God control of your heart (Proverbs 4:23).

Use your talents

Using your talents for God's glory is not about you being talented, but about you being faithful (1Peter 4:10).

Trade the bad news of your day with God's good news you've been given (1 Corinthians 15:1-2).

Delight yourself in the Lord

A blessing to receive

It's more blessed to give than to receive. But it's still a blessing to receive! Be thankful for what others are willing to do for you (Acts 20:35).

Following the dump truck

If you chose to follow the dump truck, don't complain about the smell of garbage. Avoid negativity by not be negative yourself (Philippians 4:8).

Never more close

You are never more close to God than when you seek his will (Mark 4:35).

The less you're willing

The less you're willing to learn is the less you're willing to grow is the less you're willing to live (Proverbs 10:17).

If the mountain doesn't move

You can trust that if God doesn't move the mountain, he will give you the strength to climb it (Isaiah 33:2)!

Trust God at all times

"Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us" (Psalm 62:8).

The kingdom comes

The kingdom of God comes when you reach out in God's name to touch the world around you (Romans 14:17).

Thankfulness is next to godliness!

Thankfulness, not cleanliness, is next to godliness. So, think less of the messes and use today to let your thanks overflow (2 Corinthians 4:15).

Fight it out?

It always seems easier to fight it out with others rather than prayerfully wait for the healing you & they truly need (Ephesians 6:12).

Good advice

Good advice doesn't always sound good at first. Seek the wisdom of God in order to know who & what to listen to (Proverbs 24:6).

God's confidence in you

There's nothing God has told you to do that you cannot do. Seek God's strength and trust in his confidence in you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Fountain of life

"For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light" (Psalm 36:9).

Serve with joy

However you serve God today, whether through something big or small, do it with joy and a smile and let God do the rest (Colossians 3:23-24).

Trust in what God wants to do next

Hold strongly to what you know God can do so that your struggles & trials don't keep you from trusting in what God wants to do next (Daniel 6:10).

Others care, too!

God often uses other people to bless you in ways you never imagined. Pay attention to the care others try to give you (2Kings 4:1-7).

Voices of negativity

Don't let the voices of negativity crowd the voice of salvation and truth God has already spoken to you (Isaiah 41:10).

What you are now

You don’t have to feel guilty for what you used to be. Christ’s victory lets you stand confidently in what he has made you to be now (1 John 1:9).

Hope in the Lord

"Be strong. Be strong in heart, all you who hope in the Lord" (Psalm 31:24).

Blessings offered and received

The blessing you offer to those who do not deserve it is a reminder of the grace you have received in Christ Jesus (1Peter 3:8-9).

The more you learn

The more you learn about God the more you realize the abundance of blessings, mercy & peace you've been given--get to learning (2Peter 1:2)!

Sharing God

You can't accurately speak of following God with all that you have if you aren't actively sharing God (Psalms 96:3).

When to wait

May you have the faith & patience to know when to search for answers and when to wait for answers (Lamentations 3:25).

Attention to God

Beginning your morning in prayer is a good way to let God have your attention for the rest of the day (Psalm 143:8).

Rest in God

" Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him" (Psalm 62:5).

Live for the King

Some people live for the weekend. We live for the King (1 John 4:9)!

The promise of new life

The promise of eternal life with God gives us confidence to seek the new life of God (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Thy will be done

When you pray, “Thy will be done,” you aren’t asking God to do something. You are submitting to what God is already doing (Matthew 6:10).

Remember what God has done

Remember what God has already done for you so that you can be confident in what God is going to do for you (Joshua 4:23-24)

The real you

Your life is blessed by God. You've been created in God's image & redeemed by Christ. So, you're free to be the real you (John 8:36)!

A good friend

If the world cannot trust you to be a good friend, how can you expect them to trust your God to be a good Savior (Proverbs 12:26).

The Bible speaks

Every person you meet in the Bible is a part of God's story used to speak truth and new life into your heart and mind (Hebrews 4:12).

God is always at work

Things don't have to work out perfectly for God to be good. You can believe God is always at work for the good of his people (Romans 8:28).

The heart of forgiveness

At the heart of forgiveness is a desire for peace & restoration. God wants that for us, and wants us to have that with each other (Matthew 6:12).

How majestic!

"O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens" (Psalm 8:1).

Serving the kingdom

Don't be too busy today to miss the moments God is giving you to serve the kingdom. Your service brings glory to God (Matthew 27:32).

God's own!

Nothing you do, good or bad, will change God's mind about what you are. You are God's own!  Live like you know it (John 1:12).

Victory of Christ

A defeat is only an instance. It does not define or dictate everything you are. Let the victory of Christ do that (Ephesians 6:10).

Which arguments to have

Some arguments are worth having.  But don't let your impatience decide which ones you will take part in (Proverbs 26:21).

To bring change

God wants to comfort you to bring peace, and wants to challenge you to bring change (John 5:8).

Wait in silence

"For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him" (Psalm 62:5).

When God will

If God told you, you don't have to wonder if God will. With faith, you wait for when God will (Lamentations 3:25).

Be there

If the best part of our faith is that God is with us, it may be the best thing you can do for someone else is be there (Exodus 33:14).

When things are not good

Since God is good, you can worship him even when the circumstances around you are not (Acts 16:25).

The living presence

Don't be satisfied with merely reading about God in the Bible. Seek the living presence of the God you read about in the Bible (1Chronicles 16:11).

God is with you

You can't enjoy life if you're worried about life. Trust in God's care and know that God is always with you (Matthew 6:25).

Praise the name of the Lord

"From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised" (Psalm 113:3).

Always seeking

Sometimes you'll need to seek answers. Sometimes you'll need to seek direction. But always seek God's presence (Matthew 6:33)!

Keep doing

When you don't know what to do, keep doing what you know God has already told you to do (Psalm 119:105).

Working with God

Remember that you aren't just being nice or doing good things, you are working alongside God to build the Kingdom of Heaven (Romans 14:17).

Follow something

Even if you're not following God, you're still following something. Just know that following God's Way leads to life (Joshua 24:15).

The new God prepares

When God shows you the new he has prepared for you, you'll have to fight to make sure you don't hold on to the old you're used to (Jeremiah 29:11).

Praise be to God

"Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me" (Psalm 66:20)!

Clay cannot be the potter

The clay cannot be the potter.  The clay must allow the potter to work. So, allow God's creativity & care to mold you each day (Isaiah 64:8).

Heart to heart

Even when you can't see eye to eye, God expects that you will live heart to heart so that his love can still be seen (Hebrews 12:14).

Patience enough

Let your faith give you patience enough to wait on God and patience enough to bear with others (Colossians 3:13 ).

More than a conqueror

God has made you more than a conqueror. So, don't give him less than he has asked of you (Romans 8:31-39).

Let Jesus lead

You can't be a Christ follower if you're bringing Jesus along with you. Let Jesus lead & you follow where he wants you to go (Colossians 1:17).

God alone

"For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him" (Psalm 62:5).

The goodness you see

The goodness you see in God should be the goodness others see in you (Acts 22:15).

Prayer changes us

If God has not changed what's happening around you, maybe God is trying to change something in you first (Romans 12:1-2).

How long is God good?

As long as God is good, you have the hope of Christ's Resurrection anchored in your heart (1 Peter 1:3-6). When is God good?

Weighed down or built up?

What's in your past doesn't have to weigh you down. Your past can be a witness to God's power and help build someone else up (Philippians 3:13-14).

God's version of you

You aren't free to be God's version of you if you're bound by what others expect you to be (Ephesians 3:20-21).

God is our salvation!

"May the Lord be praised!  Day after day He bears our burdens; God is our salvation" (Psalm 68:19).

The bigger God

It's not always easy, but your faith in the bigger God gives you the strength to be the bigger person (Romans 12:18).

God's voice

You never know when you might hear a surprising word of wisdom, encouragement or truth. Be open to how God wants to speak to you (John 10:27-28).

God's glory around you

Don't let the shadow of disappointment cover the abundance of God's glory around you (Romans 8:28).

Doing what's right

It takes faith & courage to do what's right, especially when others think you're wrong (James 4:17).

Strength & hope

The power of God doesn't always remove what you're facing. But God will give you the strength & hope to get through it (Isaiah 43:2).

Forevermore!

"The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8).

Whose heart?

"Follow your heart" is bad advice if you're not set on following God's.  Seek God's will in all things and be blessed (Ezekiel 11:19)!

God's schedule

You cannot follow God faithfully without patience. Waiting on God means learning that he isn't bound by your schedule (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

The perfect peace

Whether it's through the turmoil or blessing of any day, always fix your heart on the perfect peace of Christ (1 Peter 5:7).

You already have it

It's when you know Christ is everything you need that you realize everything worth having is already yours (Hebrews 13:5).

Fruitful work

May your work always be fruitful and joyful, and may you find purpose and meaning through your labors (Psalm 90:17). Have a great day!

When to worship

Some people think worship is for Sundays. Some people know that worship is a part of every day that God is good (1 Chronicles 16:23). Which are you?

Your active faith

Remember your faith; it is active.  Through it God's power helps you to stand firm, to live courageously and to remain strong (1 Cor 16:13).

The greatest gift

The greatest gift you have received from God is himself. And the greatest gift you can offer to God in return is yourself (Romans 12:1).

Children of God

You won't be able to truly love anyone as the child of God they are until you begin see them as the child of God they are (Malachi 2:10).

Peace be with you

Since Christ has promised to always be with you, you can trust that peace is always with you no matter what you're facing (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

I am in distress

"Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye wastes away from grief, my soul and body also" (Psalm 31:9).

Mystery of Christ

Too much pride in what you already know hinders the mystery of Christ your faith is meant to help you truly experience (Ephesians 3:4).

Always hope!

Hope isn't a fuzzy feeling. It's the fruit of your walk with God, and what sustains your confidence in the power of God (Hebrews 6:11). Always hope!

Your gifts to God

Your gifts to God can't match what God has given to you, but your gifts to God should match your love for what God has given to you (2Cor 9:6-8).

When you don't feel like it

You'll have days you don't feel like praying or singing to God. Those are the times when you must (Acts 16:19-25)! Praise God even in dark times.

Submit to God

The true call of faith is not merely to believe in God. You have been called to submit to God.

(James 4:7).

Our pride!

"Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God" (Psalm 20:7).

Pride is dangerous

Pride is dangerous because you aren't always aware of how much it is keeping you from truly seeing the glory of God (Galatians 6:3).

Let go

When God asks you to let go, it's so you can take hold of the new blessings he has prepared (Isaiah 26:3-4).

Faith & Trust

To bless God while things are good takes faith. To bless God while things are bad takes faith & trust (1Peter 1:6).

God's forgiveness

Forgiveness is your soul's refreshment, given as a gift from God. (James 5:16).

Don't fear doubt

You don't have to fear your doubts. Ask God to use them to lead you to a new level of faith (Mark 9:24).

Strength in my soul

"On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul" (Psalm 138:3).

Led by God's power

Our sin addiction has been conquered by God's power. So don't be led by the sin that tempts you, but by the power that saves you (Romans 6:23)!

Let God work

You don't become holy merely by what you do, but by what you let God do in you (1 Peter 1:14-16).

Let grace heal

Resentment leads to bitterness.  Grace heals both (Ephesians 4:31).

No waste of time

Nothing done for the glory of God is a waste of time (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Your sermon

A preacher's sermon lasts 20 minutes, but yours lasts an entire week (Matthew 5:16).

Our refuge

"For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy" (Psalm 61:3).

How to judge yourself

Don't judge yourself by what others have or what others do. Judge yourself by the grace & mercy God has given to you (2Corinthians 10:12).

Wise people listen

The wiser you are, the more you know others have something to teach you (Proverbs 1:5).

Fear not!

Worry stems from fear. God has given you a fear-not faith (Isaiah 41:13)!

A listening ear

One of the best things you can do for someone is be willing to listen. A listening ear brings comfort (James 1:26).

Learning to trust

The more grateful to God you are, the more trusting you will become (2 Corinthians 4:15-16).

Day of trouble

"In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted" (Psalm 77:2).

Your problems or God's promises?

Your problems can never outnumber Gods promises. God will see you through (2 Corinthians 9:8)!

Do good

You'll never overcome evil with merely good intentions. You can only do that through the good work you do (Romans 12:21).

Take back life

If you're too busy to enjoy the abundant life Jesus has given you, it's time to take back your life (John 10:10).

God's great for you

What's great for someone else isn't always the great God has prepared for you (Psalm 71:21).

Peacemaker!

Be a peacemaker!  You won't always be appreciated, but you'll have the joy of knowing you're doing what God has called you to do (Proverbs 12:20).

A clean heart

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).

Commit to God

Just because something didn't work doesn't mean it won't work.  If you've committed to God, you have the power to never give up. (Proverbs 16:3).

That simple

A simple apology is better than a good excuse (Romans 12:18).

Great things!

If God doesn't let your sin keep you from being a child of God, don't let a mistake you've made keep you from doing great things (1 John 1:9).

God's not done

You wouldn't be who you are without all you've been through. God's not done with you. So, don't give up on yourself (Joshua 1:9).

Never too late

It's never too late to begin with God. Let today be a new day for your heart to seek the blessings & direction of God (Psalm 90:12).

Take refuge

"Let me dwell in Your tent forever; let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings" (Psalm 61:4).

Move forward

Don't look at your past with regret. God is allowing you to move forward with mercy & forgiveness (Philippians 3:13).

Spirit's help

With the Spirit's help, let the eternal life God has given you impact the earthly life God has given you (Galatians 5:25).

Patient enough?

You don't know if your patience is growing until your patience is tested (2Thessalonians 1:4). Face your tests with patience & power.

The promise of life

The gospel of Jesus isn't a message. It's a promise that God's power is able to bring us from death to life (Romans 1:16)--there's no shame in that!

God's interrupts

Don't be surprised when God interrupts your plan. Be ready (Psalm 33:10)!

God satisfies us

"For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good" (Psalm 107:9.

We need God

Our troubled hearts cannot move toward healing, reconciliation or unity without the grace and power of God.

Pray persistently

One of the best ways that you can pray is persistently (Luke 18:1-8).

The fear of God

The more you fear God, the more every other fear is banished (Isaiah 26:4).

God's presence & calling

You can be still in God's presence, but you cannot be still with God's calling (Matthew 28:19).

You are free

Every day we celebrate the freedom over sin Christ has given us. You're not bound by your shortcomings (Galatians 5:1).

When God interrupts

Don't be surprised when God interrupts your plan. Be ready (Psalm 33:10)!

God's calling

You can be still in God's presence, but you cannot be still with God's calling (Matthew 28:19).

Our refuge

"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge" (Psalm 62:8).

The blame game?

You can play the blame game, but don't be surprised if someone else wants to take a turn. Don't be a blamer; be a healer (Matthew 7:3-5).

Every prayer & good deed

You can't change the world with every prayer or good deed. But you can't change the world without them (John 15:4-8).

Your way or God's way?

You can't make God follow your way & God won't make you follow his way. Because you love God & know his power, always choose God's way (John 14:15).

The hope of God

The hope of God conquers the fear of the world. Keep your eyes fixed on the power you know God has (Romans 12:12).

Stop and Praise!

Don't just stop and smell the roses. Stop and give praise to the One that gave them, the world and your life beauty (Job 12:7-10)!

Eyes on the Lord

"I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken" (Psalm 16:8).

Still waters?

The Good Shepherd always leads you to still waters. Sometimes, though, the way there can be difficult (Psalm 23:2).

Led by truth

Your word is a witness to others. Always be led by truth (2 Corinthians 2:17).

Your first fight

If all you can do for someone is earnestly lift them in prayer, you have already begun to fight on their behalf (Exodus 34:9).

You active faith

An active faith in God's power is the world's first look at the love of God (Matthew 5:16).

In the power of God

Remember that you walk in the power of what you know God can do, not in the fear of what you are facing (1 Corinthians 6:14).

Delight in the Lord

"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).

Hope in God's plan

Christ's Resurrection is God's reminder that you can always put your hope in God's plan (John 11:25-26).

You are in Christ

You don't just have a faith in Christ; you are in Christ! Jesus has given you a new identity (1 Corinthians 15:22).

Joy in sharing Christ

The joy of learning more about Christ is found in sharing what you now know (1 Peter 3:15).

It is well

Even if things around you get bad, the peace of God can always make things well with your soul (Isaiah 66:12).

In God's care

You have never been out of God's care and you have been promised you never will be (Matthew 6:25-32)!

God lifts my head

"But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high" (Psalm 3:3).

Speak to temptation

You can overcome temptation by speaking God's truth to it. Remind temptation of who God says you are  (Romans 6:6-7).

Not so comfortable

God brings comfort to your soul, but he isn't trying to make things comfortable for you (Matthew 16:24).

Blessings!

While you are counting your blessings, don't forget God has called you to be one (1 Peter 3:9).

How Great You're Not!

God hasn't forgiven you because of how good you've been. You've been forgiven because that's how good God is (Ephesians 1:7).

They've heard you

If someone hasn't listened to you, it doesn't mean they haven't heard you. Keep planting the seeds of faith & be patient (Galatians 6:9).

I will fear no evil

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me" (Psalm 23:4).

God's plan is better

Just because things aren't going your way, doesn't mean they aren't going God's way. Keep praying for God's Spirit to guide you (Psalm 86:11).

Thankful & joyful

You don't have to share everyone else's bad attitude. God is too good for you to be anything less than thankful & joyful (Ephesians 4:31).

Angry?

It's foolish to waste your anger on things that don't really matter. Don't be so quick to get worked up about things (Ecclesiastes 7:9).

Overwhelmed, but not overcome

You may feel overwhelmed, but, with God's help, you will overcome (Psalm 27:1).

Still worrying?

If you're bold enough to pray about it, be bold enough to not worry about it, too (Luke 12:25-29).

Friendship of the Lord

"The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant" (Psalm 25:14).

The plans of God

Plans come and go. It's God's purpose for your life that stands. So, seek God's will rather than your own (Proverbs 19:21).

Fill your mind right

Fill your mind with what will help you fulfill what God has called you to be (Philippians 4:8).

How to praise God

The thoughtfulness you show to others gives praise to God (Hebrews 13:16).

Day by day

God knows what you are facing, and God is renewing your heart each day so that you can face it (2 Corinthians 4:16).

God is in control

You can't control everything and you don't have to. Let God work (Jeremiah 29:11)!

Sing for joy

"For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done" (Psalm 92:4).

Following Christ

Make sure you are following Christ and not just admiring him (1 John 2:6).

God has prepared you

Be thankful for what God has delivered you from, and ready for what God has prepared you for (John 14:12).

Promise of Compassion

For every pain, sorrow or fear you face, God has a promise of compassion. May God's Spirit bring joy to your life today (Psalm 94:19)!

Complain less. Pray more.

Complain less. Pray more. God works through our faithful prayers, not our selfish complaining (Psalm 106:25).

Your life matters

You may not think much of yourself, but to God your life matters more than you could ever realize (Matthew 1:1-17)!

The glory of God

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork" (Psalm 19:1).

God's presence with you

In the presence of Christ, you do not have to fear the troubles around you (John 16:19-20).

Prepared for the future

Don't let people define you by what you used to be. God has prepared you for great things (Galatians 2:20).

Making Christ known?

No one wants to know what you think about Christ if you're kicking them when they're down (Obadiah 12).

In God's care

You may feel lost, but never believe God has lost sight of you (Ezekiel 34:11-12)! You are in God's care.

It's God's dream

If God has given you the dream, it isn't too big to make happen. Believe in what God has called you to do (Genesis 15:1).

Grey hairs and all

"So even to old age and grey hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to all the generations to come." (Psalm 71:18).

You are the light

God didn't give you a light to shine. God made you into a light that shines (Matthew 5:16). Happy Friday!

Some arguments are worth having. Others are just stupid. Before you go at it, ask God to help you know the difference (Titus 3:9)!

Seeking God's presence

Seeking God's presence is just as important as knowing it's there (Jeremiah 29:13).

Today's joy

Never let tomorrow's worry steal today's joy. Why are you even worried about tomorrow anyway (Isaiah 12:6)?

The best you

You can't be the best you if you're clinging to the old you (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Love is real

Even God knew love has to be seen; so, he sent his Son. Let the love you have for God & for others be seen in real ways today (John 3:16-17).

What we're doing for God

What you don't do for God is just as bad as what you do against God (James 4:17).

Your hope and your help

You have God as your hope and you have the church to be your help.  So, be strong, but don't be stubborn (1 Peter 2:10).

You are God's delight

Others say what they want about you. Remember that what God has already said about you is what matters most: you are God's delight (Isaiah 62:4).

Thanksgiving leads to peace

Being thankful to God leads to peace. And the peace of God conquers our anxiety (Philippians 4:6-7).

Blessed with peace

"The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace" (Psalm 29:11).

Faith and impossibilities

Where you see impossibility, God sees faith. Let your faith speak against your impossibilities, not the other way around (Jeremiah 32:17).

Giving & faith

What you give to & how you give for others when you don't think you have enough is a true sign of the kind of faith you have (Mark 12:41-44).

In the storm

Every storm passes. You may be in the middle of a storm, but God is right there with you and you will get through (Mark 4:35-41).

Healing in forgiveness

Forgiveness is more than words or even a fresh start. Forgiveness is a healing of the soul (Ephesians 4:32).

God is changing something

If God hasn't changed your situation, look for how God has changed you instead (Habukkuk 3:19).

Boring Church?

Going to church can be boring. Being the church never is (John 21:17)!

Empty tomb? No!

Actually, the tomb wasn't empty. Christ left the grave clothes there to show you the victory you have in his name (Luke 24:12)!

What we've seen

Christ's Resurrection teaches us that we don't have to be afraid of what we don't know. We proclaim the power of God we have seen (Mark 15:7-8).

An abundant life calling

The Resurrection of Jesus gives you both an abundant life & a life calling. Don't miss either of those (Matthew 28:19)!

Your Resurrection faith

Since God has raised you up, too, don't let the world bring you down! Keep your Resurrection faith focused on the things of God (Colossians 3:1-2).

Christ the cornerstone!

"The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes"(Psalm 118:22-23).

Crucified with Christ

We cannot be raised with Christ until we have been crucified with him (Galatians 2:19-20).

God forgives us

There isn't a Judas today that isn't loved by Christ, that God hasn't given his life for. So, may your betrayals melt away as you see Divine Love.

Just keep praying

Even if you don't know what to pray for, pray. The Spirit of God will pray with you and for you (Romans 8:26).

Follow the leader

Your faith is in the Lord that humbled himself to serve others. You serve your Lord by doing the same (Philippians 2:8).

Keep your faith

Don't let discouragements affect your faith. Learn from what you've been through and trust that God is still working (Psalm 55:22).

We are God's

"Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture" (Psalm 100:3).

Complain less, pray more

If you complain about something more than you pray about it, you may be more a part of the problem than you think (Ephesian 4:29).

No more grudges

It's hard to take hold of more blessings when you can't let go of a grudge (Mark 11:25).

Pick your battles

Pick your battles, but don't pick who you will let fight them. God promises to be your defense (Psalm 27:1).

You will overcome

Sometimes, before you can overcome, you have to endure. Always hold on to the faith you have in God (James 1:2-3).

Speak with your heart

Speak your mind, but don't leave your heart out of it (Matthew 15:18).

Hear of God's love

"Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust" (Psalm 143:8).

Do your best

It may take time to become the best at what you do, but it shouldn't take time to do your best (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

Praying for strength

You can't pray away your problems, but you can pray for the strength to endure through them (Romans 12:12).

The Holy Spirit is upon you

If you've got the Spirit, you've got a purpose. The Holy Spirit is preparing you to serve God's kingdom  (Luke 4:18-19).

God's promise stands

God's promises are not dependent on what happens to you. Your world may be falling, but God's promise to you will stand firm always (Isaiah 54:10).

God will hear you

You can trust God to hear your prayer not just because of God's power, but because he loves you (1Peter 5:7).

Wait on the Lord

"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord" (Psalm 27:14)!

Transforming frustration

Let God transform what frustrates you into what inspires you, and watch what you can get done (John 16:33)!

If God is love

God is love, & everything God does comes from love. You're created in the image of God. What does that say about everything you do (1 John 4:8)?

Nothing is insignificant

Nothing you do is insignificant if you're doing it in the name of the Lord (1 Corinthians 10:31)!

When we fail

God does not count failure against you. If you fail, God gives you the power to learn, move forward & begin something new (Psalm 73:26).

When I am afraid

"When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you" (Psalm 56:3).

All the good you can

No one may tell you, “Thank you,” but keep doing all the good you can because God is the one for whom you are really working (Ephesians 6:7).

Get walking

God parted the waters, but the people had to walk through. God is working for your good, but you have to walk through faithfully  (Romans 8:28).

Remembering to forget

Sometimes you have to forget where you've been so that God can show you where you need to be going (Philippians 3:13).

Power over temptation

Don't feed the temptation God is giving you the power to overcome (James 1:13-18).

God's time

May it not be that the One who gives us our time be the one we gets the least of our time (Psalm 90:12).

Glory to God's name

"Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness" (Psalm 115:1).

Hope for today

As long as God's love is active, there is always hope for today (Lamentations 2:19-24).

To gain the world, you give up your life. To gain your life, you give up the world. Christ showed us which of those is worth having (Matt 16:26).

God is moving

Our victory, healing or answers to prayer do not always come at once. Little by little God is moving in mighty ways for you (Deuteronomy 7:22).

Be what God is calling you to be, not what everyone else wants you to be. (1 Corinthians 7:17).

Making things right?

If you can't make things right, do your best not to make them worse (Proverbs 3:29).

Who's in control?

Planning your day without praying to God only shows who really has control in your life (1 Chronicles 16:11).

Faith Conquers

Realize that God has given you a faith that can conquer the trials and evil of this world (1John 5:4-5).

God's plan is working

When things don't turn out like you planned, you can trust that God's plan is still at work (Jeremiah 29:11).

Truly experience God's love

The love of God will never leave you, but it's in your obedience to Christ that you truly experience what the love of God is (Romans 8:38-39).

We don't usually decide to turn away from God. It's the small choices we're not careful with that sway us away (Job 34:4).

Those who doubt do not need judgment. They need compassion & mercy. You may be the light someone else needs to see God (Jude 1:20-22).

Sometimes, in order to say, "Yes" to God we have to say, "No" to others (Matthew 5:37).

Just admit it

God's blessing to us is salvation. Our blessing to God is obedience (John 14:15).

Generosity is an attitude that outpours from a heart that has been overwhelmed by the grace of God (1Timothy 6:18-19).

How you live

People may not understand what you say God has done in your heart, but they should be able to see it in how you live (1Peter 4:4).

Keep the joy

Child of God, don't let someone else's negativity keep you from having the joy God wants to give you (Romans 15:13)!

No perfect people
