Pride or promise?

You don't need to elevate yourself; that's pride. God has promised to raise you on eagle's wings.  That's a promise (Proverbs 16:18).

Want to be a joyful person?

If you want to be a joyful person, fill your life with joyful people. It's contagious (1 Thessalonians 1:6).

Experience the power of God

You can't experience the power of God if you're trying to run from it (Exodus 14:13).

Come to my relief

"Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief" (Psalm 143:1).

Looking up to the One

Whether you have to keep up. catch up or stay up, make sure your eyes are always looking up to the One who blesses your life (Psalm 121:1).

Influence of negative things

Don't let negative things influence spiritual things. Let spiritual things influence negative things (2 Corinthians 10:5).

How badly you want it

Choose carefully what you decide you want and how badly you want it (Matthew 6:33).

Using your gifts

If you're using your gifts for yourself, you're not using them the way God intended (1 Peter 4:10).

Wimpy prayers

There's no reason to pray wimpy prayers. God has given you boldness. Pray with it (James 5:16)!

A lamp to my feet

" Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).

Uncomfortable obedience

Obedience to Christ, especially when it's not comfortable, is a true sign of faithfulness (John 14:15).

Helping hand

A helping hand can often lead to a healing heart (Galatians 6:2).

Hold fast

Hold fast to your convictions and stand on what you know God has revealed to you (1 Corinthians 2:13).

Second chances

You learn to give people second chances when you learn how willing God is to give you second chances (1 John 1:9).

True joy

True joy is found when you let go of what keeps you from knowing God more (Jeremiah 29:13).

I shall not want

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1).

Be bold!

Be bold in your faith. God didn't put the power of the Spirit within you so you could live in fear (Hebrews 10:35).

God will make a way

Trust that God knows you & trust that God knows what obstacles you're dealing with. God will make a way (Exodus 14:14).

All you need

One of the blessings of following and seeking God is knowing that in Christ you have all you need (James 1:17).

Faith is Jesus

Your faith is not about Jesus. Your faith is Jesus (John 14:6).

Honor everyone

The more you honor everyone, the more glory God is given. People see how much they are loved by God by how you honor them (1 Peter 2:15-17).

Return to your rest

"Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you" (Psalm 116:7).

Beginnings and renewals

There are beginnings and there are renewals. God is either starting something new for you or renewing something within you (Genesis 1:1).

What you do with your faith

Your faith is a gift from God. What you do with your faith is your gift to God (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Confession & forgiveness

Don't expect others to forgive you for what you aren't willing to confess. Healing comes with confession and forgiveness (James 5:16).

Same you=same year

If you're going to be the same, 2018 is going to be the same (Ezekiel 36:26-29).
