The end of a thing

"Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit" (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

Hope in the Lord

At your side

There isn't a place you will go today or a moment you have when Christ will not be at your side (Matthew 1:23). God is with you!

Good gifts

Even the best gifts of the season could ever compare to the good gifts of salvation and eternal life God gave you in Christ Jesus (James 1:17).

Christ born within

You weren't at the manger to see Christ born, but you are able to let Christ be born within your soul every day (John 3:16)!

The blessing of Christmas

May the blessing of Christ be the blessing of Christmas!  We have seen the glory of God (John 1:14). Merry Christmas!

Waiting on the promises

The promises of God are worth waiting for. When they are fulfilled, you experience amazing grace and everlasting life (Psalm 62:5).

Eyes always on the Lord

"I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken" (Psalm 16:8).

Kids want to be adults

Kids want to be adults, but don't realize they have the faith adults need to be true to God and to themselves (Matthew 18:3).

Are you moving?

Your faith will never move a mountain if you're not willing to be moved yourself (Matthew 21:21).

Your good work

Most of the good work you will ever do will probably be the things you do for others that no one else knows about (Hebrews 13:16). Keep it up!

He wants you to follow

Jesus knew Peter would deny him, but he still asked him to follow. Jesus knows your shortcomings, but still wants you to walk with him (John 13:38).

Who could stand?

"If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand" (Psalm 130:3)?

A single act of forgiveness

A single act of forgiveness can spur a lifetime of peace and healing (Matthew 18:21-22).

Keep believing!

There are moments when your faith not only carries you, but is an inspiration to someone else, too!  Keep believing (2 Timothy 4:7).

He will always be

When Jesus said, "I am," he was telling you he will always be what you need to have abundant and everlasting life (John 11:25).

Our highest calling

The highest calling we have is to love each other. It's how we remember best that we are loved by God (Matthew 22:37).

Your weaknesses

Your weaknesses do not limit God. The more honest you can be about them, the more of God's power you will experience (2 Corinthians 12:9).

I rejoice

"May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord" (Psalm 104:34).

God is willing

God has always been willing to provide for your needs. God isn't going to change now (Genesis 9:3).

Care for your family

Take care of your family. They are the first people God gives you to care for (1 Timothy 5:8).

Dead faith

Dead faith does not honor God. Let your faith, which is God's gift to you, move you to do faithful works of service and love (James 2:17).

God has already won!

The Bible doesn't teach you just that God will win. Remember that God has already won (Revelation 20:11-13)!

How much he's been with you

God doesn't find you--you were never out of his sight. You don't find God--he was never hiding. You just learn how much he's always been with you.

Labor in vain

"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).
