Christmas isn't a time for joy--the birth of Jesus is the joy (Isaiah 9:6)!

Marvel at Christ's birth

As the world gets back to normal after Christmas Day, the church still rejoices as we marvel at Christ's birth (Luke 1:14).

Prayer is a gift of God that cultivates the assurance of faith, hope and love in your life (Psalm 35:17).

Slow down to bow down

 You'll never bow down to worship God if you never slow down (Psalm 95:6).

Authority of trust

 Don't give your fears the authority your trust in God should have (Isaiah 26:3).

Treasure of God

 Growing in grace is receiving one of God's treasures (Isaiah 33:6).

I will see the goodness of the Lord

"I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13).

Part of your journey

What doesn't work out for you isn't a waste. It's a part of your journey (Romans 8:28).

Worth the effort

If it's God's opportunity, you'll know it's worth the effort (Colossians 3:23-24).

God things

God things come to those who wait with hope (Philippians 4:19).

Confident and comfortable

Child of God, be confident in who God has made you and comfortable with who you aren't (Luke 3:16).

Easily love God

God has given you everything, so you can easily love God with everything (Mark 12:30).

Do not be far

"Do not be far from me, my God; come quickly, God, to help me" (Psalm 71:12).

Be a voice

The world will try to overpower the weak, but you are called to be a voice for those in need (Proverbs 82:3).

All the difference

You are loved and that makes all the difference (1 Corinthians 13:13).

What you pursue

Be careful because you become what you pursue (Matthew 16:26).

Take heart

Take heart because the turmoil around you is nothing new to God--God will protect you (Psalm 46:6-7).

Carrying anger

The more anger you carry around with you, the more likely you are to be hurt by it (Ecclesiastes 7:9).

Blessing of peace

"The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace" (Psalm 29:11).

Lose peace

You never lose peace when you share it (Hebrews 12:14).

Perfect failing

In Christ, failure doesn't defeat or define you. So, let failure perfect you (Proverbs 24:10).
