Expectations

Expect God to do something (Romans 8:28).

Let your life be a blessing to everyone you meet today (Psalm 66:16).

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (Psalm 73:26).

Path to peace

Think of your praying as a pathway to God's peace (Jeremiah 33:3).

Believe in who God is creating you to be (Philippians 1:6)!

There's joy and beauty around you that you'll miss if you're only in tune with the busyness and chaos around you (Psalm 8:3-4).

Words as blessings

Let your words be a blessing to those who hear them (Ephesians 4:29).

God's prepared you

You are strong and capable! God has prepared you (2 Timothy 1:7).

In God I trust

"In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me" (Psalm 56:4)?

Less a chore

Bible reading becomes less a chore when you remember it is a gift from God (Psalm 119:105).

Don't keep up

Don't try to keep up with a world that really wants to keep you down (Romans 12:21).

Tired of people

There are already enough people who are tired of other people. Be a joyful presence today (Proverbs 10:28).

Stress hold

If you don't learn to let go of stress, it will keep its hold on you (Proverbs 12:25).

Life with God includes learning to find joy in more moments (Psalm 118:24).

Choosing to trust

"Do not fear" is recognizing everything you're facing and choosing to trust God will uphold you (Isaiah 41:10).

Worry about the future

It's easy to worry about the future, but let's learn to trust God moment by moment for all that we need in the days to come (Matthew 6:34).

With God

If you're doing things for God but without God, you're missing the true joy of our faith in Jesus (Revelation 3:20).

Your life is precious to God (John 3:16).

The bright side of life is always with Jesus (Matthew 13:43).

Gracious and merciful

"Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful" (Psalm 116:5).

You are never alone in your struggles (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Your brokenness is never your end. Working for your good, God heals and brings new beginnings (Romans 8:28).

Burden of shame

Shame is a burden you let go of when you repent and turn to God (Romans 10:11).

Live well

You live well by living with love (1 John 4:21).

Others may laugh at the idea of hope, but because of what God has done in your life, you can rejoice in hope (Romans 12:12).

Our God is merciful

"Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful" (Psalm 116:5).

Living the way of Jesus is how you show that Jesus is the way (John 14:6).

Less energy

Some days you just have less energy than others. Do the best you can with what you have today (Proverbs 16:3).

Don't hesitate to go where you know God is leading you to be(Psalm 16:11)

God's future

Optimism is a fruit of the hope you have in God's future (John 16:33).

Shadow of Almighty

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1).

You are

If you're worried you aren't enough for God, you are (Psalm 139:14).

Making you sad

When you're angry, figure out what's really making you sad (Proverbs 15:13).

When you want

It's not serving God if you only do what you want, when you want (1 Peter 4:10).

A new day

You are forgiven and you have been given a new day to live in peace (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Trying to resume

What God has brought to a close, don't let your pride try to resume (Psalm 85:8).

Bless the righteous

"For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12).

Loving neighbors

Your neighbor may not love you, but Jesus told you to love them (Mark 12:31).

God will provide

Serve God with what you have and trust God with what you need. God will provide (Matthew 6:31).

Peace in places

You won't have peace in places you won't dwell with God (Isaiah 26:3).

Formed and transformed

Your experiences form you and help you live life. The power of God transforms you to live abundant life (Philippians 1:6).

Relive

Don't relive what you need to forgive (Mark 11:25).

Safety

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8).

Enough for God

Don't be fooled by any voice that says you're not enough for God (Romans 5:8).

Working through the pain

God knows the pain that weighs you down and God's power is working through it to bring you healing (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Be a blessing

Be a blessing not a difficulty (Romans 12:14).

Real struggle

Your struggle is real, but so is your God (Romans 8:28).

God's with you

God's not leading you anywhere God won't be with you (1 Chronicles 22:18)!

The Lord delivers

"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17).

Burdens of bitterness

Bitterness only creates more burdens (Hebrews 12:15).

What you want to do

God will let you do what you want to do even if it's not what God wants you to do (Genesis 2:16-17).

Courage of faith

Don't be surprised when faith takes more courage than you thought (2 Corinthians 5:7).

God redeems

Never forget that God redeemed you and redeems you from trouble (Luke 1:68).

Dreaming dreams

Dreaming dreams of a more just, righteous and holy future is a sign of the outpouring of God's Spirit (Joel 2:28).

Tired spirit

When your spirit is tired, you find the real rest you need by letting go of what's burdening you and turning to the One that strengthens you (Isaiah 40:29).

Battling God's way

There are battles ahead that God's Spirit is preparing you for today. When the time comes, you'll be ready to battle, but in God's way (Psalm 18:39).

How you sow

Don't complain about reaping sparingly if that's the way you sow (2 Corinthians 9:6).

God's got you

I don't know what God has next for you, but I am sure God has you in his care (Psalm 121:3)!

Get to know

You pray not to get more from God but to get to know God more (John 17:3).

With a song

"I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving" (Psalm 69:30).

Soar!

When you need a pick me up, remember God promises to give you wings like eagles to soar with renewed strength (Isaiah 40:31).

God always hears

God always hears what you're really praying for (Romans 8:26).

Hand in hand

Abiding in Christ means growing in grace. They go together hand in hand (John 15:8).

Curious

Stay curious about God's world and you'll learn to appreciate more of it (Exodus 15:11).

New Year

God doesn't need a New Year to make you a new creation. Jesus is already doing that (2 Corinthians 5:7)!
